Vijay Sethupathi's Maharaja to release in China!
On Friday, the film's producers revealed that the movie will be released in China, following actor Vijay Sethupathi's triumphant appearance with Maharaja earlier this year. On November 29, the movie will have its Chinese premiere. The film's CE review states: "Maharaja is a whodunit, but oddly, it's also a whats-been-done. Although the plot isn't particularly novel, the screenplay is valuable.
After its June 14 premiere, Maharaja became a critical and financial hit before being made available on Netflix the following month. Alongside Abhirami, Aruldoss, Munishkanth, Boys Manikandan, Singam Puli, Bharathiraja, Kalki, Vinod Sagar, and Sachana Namidass, the film also has Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, and Natarajan Subramaniam in important parts. Jagadish Palanisamy produces Maharaja under his label, The Route, while Sudhan Sundaram produces it under his Passion Studios banner. Philomin Raj did the editing, B. Ajaneesh Loknath did the music, and Dinesh Purushothaman did the cinematography.
