Trap City will be Yogi Babu's Hollywood debut.
In the next movie Trap City, which Tel K Ganesan not only wrote and directed but also produced under his Kyyba Films label, Yogi Babu will make his Hollywood debut. A few years ago, it was announced that GV Prakash Kumar would also be in the movie. The protagonist of Trap City is a teenage musician named Brandon T. Jackson who fights to survive in the rough and tumble music business. "Themes of redemption, morality, and survival" are examined in relation to the industry. Ganesan, a Trichy native, is recognized as the director who brought Tamil actor Napoleon to Hollywood in Devil's Night: Dawn of the Nain Rouge, where he served as executive producer.
A trailer for the movie was just released by the Kyyba Films banner, who co-financed it alongside Anchored Lens Productions. Yogi Babu can be seen grooving to the beat of an English rap song in a shot from the Trap City trailer. Nepoleon Duraisamy, Tarina Patel, Omar Gooding, Erica Pinkett, and Clifton Powell are also featured in the movie. In the US, Trap City is scheduled to be released on December 13. Yogi Babu's next projects also include a movie with Vemal and Thamizhan director Abdul Majith, Sorgavaasal with RJ Balaji, and Malai with Lakshmi Menon.
