What happened to Samantha Ruth Prabhu while shooting Citadel?
Due to her diagnosis of myositis, Samantha Ruth Prabhu found it challenging to film for Raj & DK's spy-thriller series Citadel: Honey Bunny. After giving up on the job, she was inspired to resume it by others.
Samantha claimed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India that she had never had any mentors she could confide in and that she had always made her own judgments. Additionally, she was unable to leave the house due to her health. "I can't possibly be in front of the camera. She declared, "I was completely convinced."
She was encouraged to pursue it by the Citadel team. "I believe that what they were able to accomplish to truly trust and entrust myself to someone else has never been done before in my 37 years of life," she stated. She also expressed her gratitude to the team for their support and belief in her. I wouldn't have had something to fight for or to get back up if it weren't for them, and it would have taken me a lot longer to get healthy again. This was sufficient inspiration," she remarked.
Samantha was diagnosed with the condition in 2022. It’s a rare disorder that makes the muscles weak, causing intense inflammation.
