The RJ Balaji-directed film ''Suriya 45'' begins with a pooja ceremony.

 Suriya is returning to the set of RJ Balaji's next production, Suriya 45, just a few weeks after Siva's Kanguva came out. Suriya, RJ Balaji, and the rest of the cast were present at the puja ritual that opened the recently announced movie at Masaniamman Temple in Pollachi, Coimbatore. The movie is scheduled to begin production tomorrow, November 28. On the internet, pictures from the event have been shared extensively.

The project, which is billed as an action-adventure movie, is supported by Dream Warrior Pictures, which has provided funding for highly acclaimed blockbusters such as Aruvi, Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, Kaithi, Sulthan, Farhana, and The Joker. The producers claim that the untitled movie will be the priciest in the production company's history. Information about the remaining cast members has not been made public.

AR Rahman will compose the music for Suriya 45. Prior to this, the Academy Award-winning composer composed music for Suriya's popular films, including 24 and Aayudha Ezhuthu. The actor's next project is Suriya 44, which is still in post-production and was directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Veetla Vishesham was last produced by RJ Balaji in 2022. On the acting front, he has Sorgavaasal, directed by Sidharth Vishwanath up for release on November 29, and another film Happy Ending, with director Ammamuthu Surya which is yet to go on floors. Both the films are helmed by debutant filmmakers.
