Shine & Sunny Wayne ''Adithattu'' will be released on which OTT?
Sunny Wayne and Shine Tom Chacko's Adithattu (2022), which won Second Best Film at the 53rd Kerala State Film Awards, is finally set for its digital premiere on Manorama MAX and Prime Video on November 15. The film, written by Khais Millen, is directed by Jijo Antony, who previously helmed films such as Konthayum Poonoolum (2014), Darvinte Parinamam (2016) and Pokkiri Simon (2017).
When Adithattu was released in theaters on July 1, 2022, it was widely praised by critics, but it did not do well at the box office. Sunny & Shine is joined by V I S Jayapalan, Sabumon Abdusamad, Murugan Martine, Joseph Yesudas, Mullan Ani, and Alexander Prasanth. Its technical team consists of music director Nezer Ahemed, editor Noufal Abdullah, and cinematographer Pappinu. It is produced by Susan Joseph and Sin Treesa.
"After I left the movie, I told a friend that Adithattu is like a Rajeev Ravi film that wasn't made by Rajeev Ravi," is an excerpt from the CE review of the movie. Rajeev recently produced what I referred to as his cleanest film, Kuttavum Shikshayum, which was free of all commercial cinematic gimmicks and was suitable for a wide range of viewers. Adithattu's narrative is similarly grim, mood-driven, and reportage-style. However, Adithattu's two main positives are its 90-minute runtime and its suspenseful third act.
