Karthik Subbaraj praises Suriya's Kanguva, saying, "Awesome visuals, amazing stunts."
Starring Bobby Deol, Suriya, and Disha Patani, Kanguva, one of the year's most anticipated movies, came out this morning. Director Karthik Subbaraj expressed his opinions and gave the film's production acclaim.
Karthik Subbaraj praised Siva's "unique tribal world building," "superb stunts," and "Stunning visuals" on his official X Twitter. Suriya's "fiery performance," which he also scripted, and Kanguva's "technical and VFX brilliance" made it an exhilarating theatrical experience. He continued by praising the entire film's technical team. Suriya 44, the film's preliminary title, is being directed by Karthik Subbaraj.
Kanguva, an action-adventure movie, debuted on Thursday to mixed reviews. According to the film's CE review, Kanguva is unrelenting—and not in a positive manner. This is a frantic, unfocused pace that makes you feel uneasy and disengaged, not momentum. This hardly contains the sheer emotional power of Siva's finer work. The movie has a lot to say, but it is too disorganized to focus on just one. The fact is that it's equally difficult to feel involved in movies that don't happen as it is in ones that seem to be about too much.
Disha Patani, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, G Marimuthu, Ravi Raghavendra, KS Ravikumar, BS Avinash, and Deepa Venkat are among the other actors who appear in Kanguva in addition to Suriya. Bobby Deol and Disha Patani will be making their Tamil film debuts.
The film, which consists of two parts, spans several eras. Kanguva, which is being produced by Studio Green and UV Creations, will have art direction by the late Milan Fernandez, editing by the late Nishadh Yusuf, and cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy. Madhan Karky wrote the dialogue for the movie.
