Check out the first look of Mohanlal and Tharun Moorthy's movie, Thudarum.

 Officially, Thudarum is the title of Mohanlal's next movie, which is directed by Tharun Moorthy of Saudi Vellakka (2022). The announcement was accompanied on Friday by the release of a first-look poster by the film's creators, which featured the main actor beside a group of uniformed youngsters. KR Sunil and Tharun co-scripted the movie, which was first released under the working title L 360. Shobana plays the protagonist role, reuniting with Mohanlal following their previous partnership in Sagar Alias Jacky Reloaded (2009).

Aanandam star Thomas Mathew, Farhaan Faasil, Binu Pappu, and Maniyanpilla Raju are among the supporting cast members of Thudarum. Shaji Kumar did the film's photography, Jakes Bejoy did the soundtrack, Vishnu Govind did the sound design, and the late Nishadh Yusuf and Shafeeque VB did the editing. M Renjith produces it under the Rejaputhra Visual Media label.

In the meantime, Mohanlal is anticipating the release of Barroz, a 3D children's fantasy movie that marks his directorial debut. Additionally, on March 27, 2025, Prithviraj Sukumaran's L2: Empuraan, the second installment in the Lucifer franchise, would see him reprise his role as the main character. Jeethu Joseph's Ram and Sathyan Anthikkad's Hridayapoorvam are two of Mohanlal's other forthcoming films.
