Ashok Selvan's ''Emakku Thozhil Romance'' Release has been delayed.

The producers of Emakku Thozhil Romance, starring Ashok Selvan, revealed on Wednesday that the film had been postponed from its original Friday release date. The makers explained the postponement by pointing to the severe rains that are expected to fall on Tamil Nadu in the next several days.

Directed by newcomer Balaji Kesavan, Emakku Thozhil Romance is billed as a romantic-comedy and has notable performances by Avantika Mishra, Urvashi, Azhagam Perumal, MS Bhaskar, Bagavathi Perumal, and Badava Gopi. When the trailer for the movie was released in early May, it implied that Ashok would play an aspiring filmmaker and that it would be a comedy of errors.

The film Emakku Thozhil Romance features music by Nivas K Prasanna, lyrics by Mohan Rajan, editing by I Jerome Alen, and cinematography by Ganesh Chandra. M Thirumalai of T Creations is the producer. The film's producers have not yet disclosed a new release date.
