Though praised for the performances of the cast and the background score by G. V. Prakash Kumar, the film faced criticism for its historical inaccuracies, screenplay, and visual effects. Despite mixed reviews, the Hindi version, released on September 6, 2024, achieved success through positive word of mouth.
