Devara Part 1: Action-Packed Telugu Drama Hits Netflix This November

Devara: Part 1 is a 2024 Indian Telugu-language action drama directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Yuvasudha Arts and N. T. R. Arts. The film stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr. in dual roles, alongside Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Shruti Marathe. The plot centers around Bhairava ("Bhaira") and his village, which used to smuggle goods but has now turned to fishing after Devara, the village chieftain, stops illegal operations. However, tensions rise when Bhaira's men push for a return to smuggling, and Devara's son, Varadha ("Vara"), is forced to take action.

Unbeknownst to the villagers, Vara has been secretly avenging his father's death by killing smugglers while posing as Devara. The story explores themes of family, honor, and revenge as Vara grapples with his past and the legacy of his father. The film, filled with action and drama, was released worldwide on September 27, 2024, in multiple formats like IMAX and 4DX.

Devara will stream on Netflix starting November 2024.
