2016 Hero MotoCorp Hunk
SPIED: 2016 Hero MotoCorp Hunk facelift spotted undisguised, receives new graphics and a side stand indicator
Early this month, we saw a partially disguised but nearly production ready Hero MotoCorp Hunk during its pre-launch test runs. The unit in the previous spy images carried delivery ready components such as updated body graphics, crash guard and the mandatory saree guard.
This time around, the upcoming 2016 Hero Hunk has been snapped once again, in detail and with no camouflage. The new images have been snapped by the folks at GaadiWaadi and reveal the refreshed graphics and a slightly tweaked instrument cluster which, this time around, gets a side-stand warning light. Now, while the overall instrument cluster design looks nice, we wish Hero clubbed the fuel gauge inside the digital display instead of the analogue meter for a cleaner, minimal look.
Visually, the rest of the motorcycle will carry forward the trademark muscular look of the Hunk and will remain identical to the current generation model. However, there might be a slight bump in the power output from that 149.2cc air-cooled single cylinder engine, 15.6 bhp to be precise – similar to what the updated Xtreme Sport receives.
The new Hero Hunk is production ready and we expect to see a launch very soon. Once launched, the new Hero Hunk would compete with the likes of the Honda Hornet 160, Suzuki Gixxer 155 and the Yamaha FZ-S. Here are some more images of the upcoming Hero MotoCorp Hunk facelift.
