Google Announcement
The Google announcement said, Cloud Dataflow "is specifically designed
to remove the complexity of developing separate systems for batch and streaming
data sources by providing a unified programming model". In cloud, the performance is optimized which means less time spent
on the compute server that leads to lower power charges. The Cloud Dataflow
service is two to three times faster than Hadoop when evaluates against classic
MapReduce-based, as Google PageRank and WordCount.
