Honda CBR 300R Preview
Honda’s new offering in the bike segment is the Honda CBR300R. The manufacturer has offered a perfect balance to the bike that riders will appreciate such as light weight, handling, excellent power, robust build quality, etc. Honda unveiled the CBR300R for the first time at China International Motor Cycle Trade Exhibition in mid October 2013. It was again exhibited at 2013 EICMA event at Milan, Italy. The CBR300R comes fitted with a bigger engine than the CBR 250R and has got a far more edgy and aggressive design. The instrument cluster and the handle bar remain the same as the CBR250R.
Honda CBR300R is a bigger version than the CBR250R. The length of the CBR300R is 2035mm, width is 720mm and the height is 1120mm. The wheelbase is 1380mm and the ground clearance is same as that of the CBR250R, that is 145mm.
Honda CBR300R will be powered by a 286cc, single-cylinder, liquid cooled fueled injected engine. The motor produces 30.8 PS of power at 8500rpm and 27Nm of torque at 7250rpm. The CBR300R features a hydraulic disc 296mm front suspension and a 220mm rear suspension that provides excellent stopping power. Honda's new CBR 300R will compete with Kawasaki ninja 250R. The Honda CBR300R is expected to be launched in September 2015 with a price range of Rs 1,95,000 - 2,40,000.
