Raghava Lawrence to build a temple for his Mother
Actor-filmmaker Raghava Lawrence, who is basking in the glory of the mega success of his recent release Kanchana 2, laid foundation Stone to build a temple for his mother Kanmani on Mother’s day. The temple is being built in his father’s hometown Poovirundhavali in Tamil Nadu.
The work on the temple has started and will be completed by next year.
“It’s been my dream to build a temple for my mother Kanmani while she’s alive. I’m in this world because of my mother. I dedicate this temple to all mothers, who have sacrificed their life for their kids,” Lawrence told IANS.
Lawrence was always respectful and dedicated to his mother and never started his work without getting her blessing and maintained that without her, he wouldn’t be anywhere now.
Lawrence’ Kanchana – 2, both in Tamil and Telugu broke all the records by collecting a whopping Rs.80 crore in box office collection an still running to full house in most of the theaters. The Rs.10 crore budget film is raking in moolah for the past one week.
Meanwhile, he had big ideas for his directorial career with a completed script for Rajanikanth and designs on the Telugu movie star Pawan Kalyan for the future.
