Embedded Based Calibration of Proximity Sensor
Abstract
An inexpensive optical reflective sensor was evaluated for
possible use as a precision proximity sensor. The output signal of the sensor
was measured as a function of the distance of a flat reflecting surface from
the front glass window of the sensor. The experimental data support the
hypothesis that the sensor may be used as a precision proximity sensor.
In Embedded Based Calibration of Proximity Sensor project we
are developed for proximity sensor based object detection. It consists of three
modules light transmitter and receiver, microcontroller , lcd display. The LDR
is connected with the microcontroller unit. The display indicates moving
objects presnt or not.
The light sensors detect the moving object.The light sensor
is connected to microcontroller. The microcontroller used is PIC 16F73. The
microcontroller program is written in assembly language.
